Old-Fashioned Pumpkin Bread
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Salad oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 , beaten|
|Pumpkin||1 Can (10 oz) (use no.303 can)|
Sift sugar, flour, soda, salt and spices into large mix- ing bowl.
Make well in center; add nuts, oil, eggs, 2/3 cup water and pumpkin.
Blend well; pour into large greased and floured angel food cake pan or two small loaf pans.
Bake at325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
