Dilly Bread

For a bread with a difference, try this Dilly Bread recipe. Prepared using dillseed and creamed cottage cheese, this bread has a unique flavor. Serve this as a side dish, and watch while everyone relishes it! Goes great with grilled vegetables.
Ingredients
  Yeast 1 Tablespoon
  Creamed cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Tablespoon, minced
  Dill seed 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Using butter, grease an 8-inch round 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole.

MAKING
2) In 1/4 cup warm water, add the yeast and allow to soften.
3) Heat the cottage cheese till lukewarm.
4) In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sugar, onion, dillseed, salt, soda, egg and yeast.
5) Add in enough flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
6) Place a lid over and allow to rise in a warm place for 1 hour or till light and doubled in bulk.
7) Stir down.
8) Turn into the casserole.
9) Stand in a warm place till doubled in bulk.
10) Place in the oven at 350 degrees and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
11) Cool for 5 minutes.
12) Take out from casserole.
13) Brush with butter.

SERVING
14) Sprinkle with additional salt.
