Savory Supper Bread
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Biscuit mix||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Grated american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dill seed||1 Tablespoon|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Saute onion in small amount of fat until tender and lightly browned.
Combine egg and milk; add to bis- cuit mix and stir only until dry ingredients are moist- ened.
Add onion and half the cheese.
Spread in greased 8 x 1 1/2-inch round or 8-inch square pan.
Sprinkle top with remaining cheese and dillseed; drizzle with melted butter.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
