Mince Nut Bread

Ingredients
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), sifted
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Prepared mincemeat 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Crisco 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
2 Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.

MAKING
3 In large mixer bowl, sift flour, sugar, soda, and salt together.
3 In medium bowl, add mincemeat, 1/2 cup water, the cooled Crisco, molasses, and egg.
4 Combine with the dry ingredients; mix well.
5 Stir in nuts.
6 Transfer into the prepared loaf pan.
7 Bake for 1 1/4 hours.
8 Allow to cool.
9 Wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

SERVING
10 Cut and serve.
