Golden Syrup Flapjacks

Ingredients
  Margarine 3 Ounce
  Demerara sugar 2 Ounce
  Golden syrup 4 Ounce
  Rolled oats 8 Ounce
Directions

1. Melt the margarine, sugar and syrup together-in a pan.
2. Add the rolled oats and mix together thoroughly.
3. Turn the mixture into a greased tin, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
4. Spread over the tin evenly and press down firmly.
5. Bake on the middle shelf of a moderate oven (350°F - Gas Mark 4).
6. Remove from the oven.
7. Cut into 16 pieces and leave to cool in the tin.
