Irish Bran Bread
|All purpose flour||4 1⁄3 Cup (69.33 tbs), sifted|
|Baking soda||3 Teaspoon|
|Bran cereal||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs), crushed|
|Buttermilk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
1)In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, soda, sugar and salt.
2)Add cereal and buttermilk and mix well.
3)On a floured surface, knead the dough lightly.
4)Take a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan and put the dough into it.
5)Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
6)Serve the Irish Bran Bread sliced.
