Crispy Herb Bread
|French bread loaf||1|
|Soft butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried rosemary||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried marjoram||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Seasoned salt||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 400F.
At 1-inch intervals, make diagonal cuts in bread; don't cut through bottom.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients until well blended.
Spread mixture between bread slices.
Wrap bread completely in foil; bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until herb butter is melted and bread is hot.
Makes 8 servings.
