Sourdough Bread Scones
|Sourdough starter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pimento||1 , grated|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Onion||1 , minced|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Melted butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine dry ingredients; mix well.
Cut in 2 tablespoons butter until crumbly.
Add remainder of ingredients (except milk & 1/3 cup butter); mix well.
Mix in enough milk to make a soft dough.
Work up & shape into dish or pan lined with wax paper.
Bake at 460 degrees until brown (about 10 minutes).
Pour melted butter over, let set a few minutes, then cut into desired size, and serve.
