Garlic Bread

Ingredients
  French bread loaf 1
  Soft butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Grated parmesan cheese 3 Tablespoon
  Dried marjoram 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1 Dash
Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.
At 1-inch intervals, make diagonal cuts in loaf; don't cut through bottom.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients until well blended.
Spread mixture between bread slices.
Place bread on ungreased cookie sheet; sprinkle top with few drops water.
Bake about 10 minutes, or until butter is melted and bread is hot.
Serve immediately.
Makes about 12 servings
