|Plain flour||1 Pound (450 Gram)|
|Wholemeal||14 Ounce (400 Gram)|
|Coarse bran||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Wheat germ||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking soda||4 Teaspoon (Leveled) (For Bread)|
1 Preheat the oven at 450 degrees farenheit. (230°C/Gas 8).
2 Grease a roasting tin (or two 2 lb loaf tins) and shake a little flour over the base.
3 Sift all the dry ingredients well together.
4 Add eggs beaten with some buttermilk.
5 Add more buttermilk until the mixture is a soft consistency.
6 Put the mixture into the baking tin (or tins) and lightly level with a spoon.
7 Shake some wholemeal over the top and make a few marks with a knife.
8 Bake for 30-35 minutes.
9 Remove from tin onto a wire tray to cool.
10 This bread freezes very well.
11 Slice and serve.
