Sourdough Bread

Sourdough bread is a nice tangy, chewy bread. This bread is little different from other breads. It has hard crust and soft inside. Sourdough bread goes well with seafood, meat and poultry dishes. Sourdough bread has a unique taste which you will like for sure.
Ingredients
  All-purpose flour 6 Cup (96 tbs), unsifted
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dry yeast 1
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Starter 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1)In a large bowl, add 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and un-dissolved yeast.
2)In a saucepan, add milk and margarine and cook on low heat until liquid is warm. Margarine does not need to melt.
3)Add this mixture into dry ingredients slowly and beat for 2 minutes with electric mixer at medium speed.
4)Add Starter and 1 cup flour and beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
5)Fold in enough flour to make soft dough.
6)On a lightly floured board, knead for 8 to 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
7)Take a greased bowl and put the dough into it. Turning to grease top.
8)Cover and allow it to rise in warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in bulk. Punch down.
9)On lightly floured board, place the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
10)Then, divide in half. Shape each half into loaf.
11)Take 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans and put the loaves. Cover them.
12)Let them rise in warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
13)Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until done. Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.

SERVING
14)Slice and serve the bread as desired.
