|Canned pumpkin||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely chopped|
1 In a large mixing bowl, blend sugar, oil, eggs, and pumpkin.
2 When ingredients are well mixed, stir in flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, baking soda, and baking powder, blending well.
3 Stir in walnuts. Pour the batter into an 8 x 4-inch glass dish.
4 Cook for 12 to 14 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn every 4 minutes.
5 Knife inserted in the center should come out clean when bread is done.
6 Rest for 5 minutes and remove from the pan.
7 Serve either warm or cold with butter or cream cheese.
