Banana Date Bread

Ingredients
  Date crystals/Finely chopped dates 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ripe bananas 1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped
  Butter/Other shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Unbleached white flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

MAKING
2. Mix bananas to chopped dates.
3. Whip sugar and shortening to a creamy mixture. Mix thoroughly beaten eggs with sugar mixture. Sift flour with salt and baking powder and beat into shortening mixture.
4. Take a loaf pan, grease thoroughly, pour in the mixture and bake for 1 hour till bread is completely done and turns brown.

SERVING
5. Serve sliced with a creamy spread.
