|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Quick cooking rolled oats||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Stir in rolled oats.
Cut in butter until butter forms small particles.
Add buttermilk all at once and stir until smooth.
Pour mixture into well-greased 8-inch square pan.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 30 minutes.
Cut while warm into squares
