Caraway Bread

Ingredients
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Vanilla 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Caraway seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. in a bowl, cream the shortening and sugar together; add egg, vanilla and salt to it and blend well
2. Mix together all the dry ingredientgs and add it to the shortening mixture
3. Blend the milk in and pour the mixture into a greased bread tin; bake for forty five minutes or an hour at 350°F

SERVING
4. Serve as appropriate
