Apricot Whole Wheat Bread
|Dried apricots||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut up|
|Water||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs) (Boiling Hot For Dried Fruit)|
|Whole wheat pastry flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Powdered milk||5 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Sugar in the raw||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Take a bowl with boiling water and place dried apricots in it. If fresh apricots are used, use 2/3rd cup of hot water and 1 cup of hot water.
3. Sieve in flour, baking powder, powdered milk, salt and soda. Mix oil and sugar to the flour followed by apricot mixture.
4. Take a loaf pan, grease thoroughly, pour in the mixture and bake for 55 minutes.
5. Slice and serve warm.
