Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into mixing bowl.
Add raisins and coa well.
Combine remaining ingredients, add to dry ingredients, and mix well.
Pour into greased loaf pan (9x5x3 inches) and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 45 to 50 minutes, or until done.
