|Rolled oats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Soy oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Yeast cake||1⁄4 Ounce|
|Whole wheat flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dates||1⁄6 Cup (2.67 tbs)|
|Raisin||1⁄6 Cup (2.67 tbs)|
|Nut||1⁄6 Cup (2.67 tbs)|
Pour 1 pint of hot water over the rolled oats.
Cover until lukewarm.
Dissolve honey in 1/4 cup warm water and blend with yeast cake.
Stir in soybean oil and add to the oatmeal.
Beat well and cover.
Let rise in a warm place until double its bulk.
Then add 1/2-cup dates, raisins and nuts.
Add sufficient wholewheat flour to make a soft dough, with 1 tspn.
Knead and make into two loaves.
Place in pans, let rise and bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
