Basic Bread Stuffing For Fish
|Yellow onion||1 Medium, peeled and minced|
|Minced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soft white bread crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Thyme/1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sage/1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , lightly beaten|
1) Take a large, heavy skillet and put butter in it.
2) Sauté onion and celery in the butter over moderate heat for 5 minutes till they turn pale golden.
3) Add in all remaining ingredients and toss well and mix.
4) Use as a stuffing for fish.
