Orange Date Nut Bread

Ingredients
  Orange 1 Medium
  Walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pitted dates 1 Cup (16 tbs), halved
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Use vegetable peeler to cut strips of outer portion of peel from orange; cut peel into 1-inch pieces.
Cut off white membrane from orange; discard.
Quarter orange, discarding seeds.
Place steel blade in work bowl; add peel, walnuts, dates, and 1/4 cup of the flour.
Process with on/off turns till chopped.
Remove from bowl; set aside.
Reinsert steel blade in work bowl.
Add quartered orange, egg, water, and melted butter or margarine; process till nearly smooth.
Stir together remaining 1 3/4 cups flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, and date mixture; add to work bowl.
Process with on/off turns just till flour disappears.
Do not overmix.
Turn into 3 greased 6x3x2-inch loaf pans or one 8x4x2-inch loaf pan.
Bake in 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes for the small loaves or 55 to 60 minutes for the large loaf.
Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove to wire rack.
Cool thoroughly.
If desired, wrap and store overnight.
