Fried Bread

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Frying oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
Directions

Combine flour, whole wheat flour and salt in bowl; mix well.
Mix in shortening until blended.
Stir in water with fork until mixture forms dough.
Shape dough into a ball.
Let rest for 30 minutes.
Knead on lightly floured surface for 5 minutes or until smooth.
Roll 1/8 inch thick; cut into 3-inch circles.
Fry in 365-degree oil in heavy skillet for 30 seconds or until puffed.
Turn bread.
Fry for 1 minute; drain.
