Pizza Batter Bread
|Pepperoni||2 Ounce, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (Casing Removed)|
|All purpose flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Active dry yeast||1 Packet|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Place steel blade in work bowl, With machine running drop pepperoni pieces through feed tube; process till finely chopped.
Add 1 1/2 cups of the flour, the yeast, oregano, and garlic powder; process with on/off turns tilI mixed.
In saucepan heat water, butter or margarine, sugar, and salt just till warm (115° to 120°) and butter is almost melted; stir constantly.
Pour into measuring cup or small pitcher.
With machine running pour mixture through feed tube.
Stop machine; add the remaining 1 1/2 cups flour and process with 4 on/off turns.
Turn on again and process 5 to 10 seconds longer or till well mixed.
Transfer to greased bowl.
Cover and let rise in warm place till double (45 to 60 minutes).
Stir dough down.
Spread evenly in greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
Cover; let rise till double (about 30 minutes).
Bake in 375° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or till done.
Remove from pan; cool on rack.
