Easy Squaw Bread

Ingredients
  Sweet milk 1 Pint
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
  Shortening 1 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Dough 2 Tablespoon, or enough to make a dough easier to handle
Directions

Knead and roll out to any desired thickness, cut in pieces.
Cut 2 slits and cook in kettle of deep fat.
Serve with syrup and crisp bacon.
