Ricotta and Basil Pizza Bread
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Yellow pepper||2 , roughly chopped|
|Olive oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped tomatoes||800 Gram (1 Can)|
|Plain flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cherry tomatoes||10 , halved or whole|
GETTING READY 1) Preheat the oven to the temperature of 220 degrees centigrade. 2) Prepare the bread mix with the help of pack instructions. 3) Knead the dough twice. 4) In a large floured baking dish place the dough in the shape of a rectangle of around 25X35 cm. MAKING 5) In a pan, heat the oil and saute the onion until soften. 6) Add peppers and tomatoes, season the mixture and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. FINALIZING 7) In the oven , bake the prepared dough for 5 minutes on the top shelf until firm. 8) Remove the baking dish from the oven and spread the tomato-onion sauce over the baked dough. 9) Top it up with cherry tomatoes and spoonfuls of ricotta. 10) Bake the dough again for 10 minutes until the base turns golden brown. SERVING 10) Garnish the baked dough with basil and serve hot from the oven with green salad.
