Cheddar Quick Bread
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shredded old cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Granulated sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried oregano||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Green onions||6 , finely chopped|
In bowl, stir together flour, Cheddar cheese, baking powder, sugar, oregano, mustard and salt.
Whisk together egg, milk and butter; add to dry ingredients along wid onions, stirring until combined.
Spread in greased and floured 8-1/2- x 4-1/2-inch (1.5 L) loaf pan.
Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool on rack for 10 minutes before turning out of pan.
