Cheese Nut Bread
|Sifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Sift the flour with baking powder, salt and sugar twice and place in a large bowl.
Add the cheese and pecans and mix thoroughly.
Mix the egg, milk and butter.
Pour into dry ingredients and stir until dry ingredients are just dampened.
Batter will be lumpy.
Pour into a greased bread pan and let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool before slicing.
