Herb Buttered Rye And White Bread Sandwiches
|Sweet butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped chives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped fresh dill||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground pepper||To Taste|
|White bread slice||8|
|Rye bread slice||8|
Cream the butter and beat in the chives, dill, salt, and pepper.
Spread 8 slices of bread with this mixture and top with remaining slices to make sandwiches.
Trim the crusts and cut into fingers or wedges.
Chill until ready to take to picnic.
