Herbed Cheese And Onion Bread

Ingredients
  Dry yeast 1 Tablespoon
  Lukewarm milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Tarragon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chives 1 Teaspoon, chopped
  Cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated
  Chopped green onions/Onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole wheat flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
Directions

Soften the yeast in lukewarm milk, to which honey has been added.
Let stand for approximately 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients in the order given, then knead the dough until smooth and elastic, using more flour if necessary.
Cover bowl, set in a warm, draft-free place to rise.
When dough has doubled, punch it down, shape into a loaf and place in an oiled bread pan to rise again until double in size.
Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until bread is done.
Remove from pan and cool.
