Quick Sally Lunn Bread
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cream the shortening and sugar in a bowl.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Sift the flour with baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Place in a greased 9x12-inch baking pan.
Bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve hot.
