Casserole Cheese Bread
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (scalded)|
|Warm water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Flour||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
Mix the milk, sugar, salt and butter in a bowl and cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve the yeast in the warm water, then stir into milk mixture.
Add the cheese and flour and stir until well blended.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Beat for about 30 seconds and turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour.
