Orange Date Nut Bread
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley chopped|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Dates||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut up|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Orange peel||2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Baking powder||1 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Generously grease 6-cup ring dish; coat with 1/8 cup finely chopped nuts.
2. Mix remaining ingredients; beat 30 seconds. Pour batter into ring dish.
3. Microwave uncovered on medium-high (70%) 8 to 10 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 3 minutes, until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand uncovered on heatproof surface 5 minutes.
4. Invert onto serving plate; cool completely before slicing. To store, wrap and refrigerate up to 10 days.
