Cheese Bread

Ingredients
  Plain flour 500 Gram (3 1/4 Cups)
  Lukewarm milk 150 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Dry yeast 25 Gram (1 Packet)
  Warm water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Cheese 100 Gram, grated (1 Cup)
Directions

1. Sift flour in a bowl. Make a well in the centre. Pour yeast mixture. Cover with a dry cloth leave aside for 20 minutes.
2. Mix well and gently add the milk mixture. Knead well and add egg and cheese. Knead again, make a smooth dough. Cover and let it rise for 15 minutes.
3. Turn the dough out onto a floured board. Knead lightly. Place the dough in a well greased and floured baking tin 9" x 4" x 3" size and cover. Keep the tin in a warm place until double in quantity for 1 hour.
4. Bake in a moderate oven 1 90°C-350°F-gas mark-4 for 1 hour.
