Applesauce And Raisin Bread
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Unsweetened applesauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Dark brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley chopped|
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
Combine applesauce, eggs, sugar and oil; stir in raisins and nuts.
Add all at once to flour, stirring only until flour is moistened.
Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 350Â° oven 50 to 55 minutes or until done.
Allow to cool in pan 15 minutes before removing.
