Brown Nut Bread

Ingredients
  Unsifted all purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Mixed spice 2 Teaspoon
  Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Chopped pecans/Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sultana raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Fancy molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Sift the first five ingredients into a bowl and stir in whole-wheat flour, brown sugar, nuts and raisins.
Make a well in the centre and pour in the combined liquids.
Mix thoroughly and scrape into a greased 9 X 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350F for 55 minutes.
