Rich Raisin Bread

Ingredients
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lukewarm water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Active dry yeast 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1 package)
  Scalded milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , lightly beaten
  Soft butter 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)
  Sugar To Taste
Directions

Cover raisins with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes.
Drain well and dry on paper toweling.
Measure lukewarm water into mixing bowl.
Add 1 tsp.sugar and stir to dissolve.
Sprinkle yeast over water and let stand 10 minutes.
Stir well.
Cool scalded milk
