Orange Date Nut Bread
|Nuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), finley chopped|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Dates||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Orange peel||2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Baking powder||1 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Generously grease 5- or 6-cup ring dish; coat with 1/3 cup finely chopped nuts.
2. Mix remaining ingredients; beat 30 seconds. Pour into ring dish. Microwave uncovered on medium-high (70%), rotating ring dish 1/4 turn every 3 minutes, until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean, 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes on heatproof surface (do not use rack). Remove from dish and let cool completely before slicing. To store, wrap and refrigerate no longer than 10 days.
