Easy Garlic Bread
|Butter/Margarine||4 Ounce (100 Gram)|
|Garlic||1 , skinned and crushed|
|French loaf||1 Small (About 43 Cm 17 Inches Long)|
1. Put the butter into a small ovenproof glass bowl and microwave on LOW for about 1 minute to soften it. Beat in the crushed garlic and season very well with salt and pepper.
2. Cut the bread into diagonal slices about 2.5 cm (1 inch) thick. Spread the slices with the garlic butter, then sandwich the loaf together again.
3. Divide the loaf into two and wrap each piece in absorbent kitchen paper.
4. Microwave on HIGH for 50-60 seconds until warm. Do not over-heat the bread as it will become tough. Serve immediately.
