Orange Marmalade Bread
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted|
|Pecans||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), chopped|
|Orange marmalade/Or other flavor if desired||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
Gradually stir in the eggs, milk, and shortening.
Stir in the pecans and marmalade.
Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake the bread for 1 hour or until a tester comes out clean.
