Quick Onion Cheese Bread

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Biscuit mix 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Saute onion and chili powder in oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add onion and oil to mixture of egg and milk.
Combine with biscuit mix; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Add half the cheese.
Spread in a greased pan (8 x 8 x 2 inches).
Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
Dot with butter.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 20 minutes.
