Easy Christmas Bread

|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Cardamom||1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground|
Melt the butter in a small pan; set it aside.
In a mixing bowl beat the eggs well with the sugar.
Add the milk, melted butter, raisins, and citron.
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Add them to the liquid mixture, stirring vigorously.
Divide the dough and put it into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
Bake the bread at 350°F for 1 hour.
