Egg Enriched Bread In The Bread Machine

This recipe is for tender, delicious Egg Bread made in the bread machine. There is nothing like a fresh, homemade loaf to enjoy but who wants to bake it in a hot oven in the summer? Using the bread machine is easy and fun, and it won't heat up the kitchen too much. Try using this scrumptious bread to make French Toast - if you can resist eating it all as it is!
Ingredients
  Water 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Eggs 2 Large
  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, cubed
  Fast rise yeast 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In the bread maker, add the ingredients in the following order (or as suggested in the bread maker manual), water, egg, flour, salt and sugar.
2. Using a spatula move the flour to the corners of the bread maker and add the pieces of butter in the 4 corners of the maker. Add the fast rise yeast in the middle of the bread maker.
3. Put the machine on the basic white rapid cycle, and bake the bread for 3 hours.
4. Once done, remove the 1 and 1/2 pound loaf from the bread maker and let it cool down on the rack for 15 minutes before slicing it.

SERVING
5. Slice the egg bread, into desired pieces and serve with a bowl of hot soup.

very nice, why not try adding some vanilla essence, honey and candy cherrys to your great loaf.......

That is a very good idea. In fact you can add any essence like almond essence, banana essence also nuts or tutti-frutti.
