Cattail Wheat Nut Bread
|Cattail pollen||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Packed brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Walnuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), broken into pieces|
|Buttermilk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Sift together pollen, flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add sugar, nuts and milk.
Bake in 8" by 4" greased pan at 350°F. for 1 1/2 hours.
