Easy Date Nut Bread

Ingredients
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Date-bar mix 14 Ounce (1 Package)
  Slightly-beaten eggs 3
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Mashed banana 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped california walnuts 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Stir hot water into date filling portion of the mix.
Add crumbly portion of mix, eggs, flour, baking powder, and banana.
Beat vigorously 2 minutes.
Stir in walnuts.
Pour into greased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 to 55 minutes or till done.
Remove from pan; cool.
