Quick Cheddar Bread
|Chopped onion||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Butter/Margarine||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||500 Milliliter|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Biscuit mix||1 Liter (4 Cups)|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Chopped parsley||50 Milliliter|
In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
Remove from heat.
Add 250 mL (1 cup) cheese and remaining ingredients.
Stir until just blended (batter will be slightly lumpy).
Spread evenly in 2 greased 23 cm (9-inch) round layer pans.
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over layers; bake 15 minutes more or until done.
Remove from pan; cool.
