Original Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
  Yeast cake 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Warm water 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon (Scant Teaspoon)
  Whole wheat flour 1 1⁄8 Cup (18 tbs)
  White flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lard 1 Tablespoon, melted
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Molasses 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add sugar.
Mix whole wheat and white flour, salt and lard.
Stir in water, yeast and molasses.
Let rise 1 1/2 hours to double.
Put in greased and floured pan about 1 hour to rise again.
Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
