Whole Wheat Bread With Lox
|Long white radish/Daikon||1|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped fresh chives||1 Tablespoon|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole wheat bread slice||4|
|Soft butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Lox slice||16 Ounce (Four 4 Ounce Slices)|
|Dill stalks||2 (Use Fresh)|
Peel and grate the radish; season with salt, pepper and chives.
Whip the cream and fold in the radishes.
Peel and thinly slice the cucumber.
Lightly butter the bread, then cover with slices of cucumber.
Put a dollop of the radish-cream mixture on the cucumber slices and lay a mound of lox on each sandwich.
Decorate with a sprig of dill.
