Quick Fat Free Raisin Bread
|Whole wheat flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Molasses||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hot water||2 Tablespoon|
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together the flour, raisins, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add the molasses, buttermilk, and hot water. Mix well, then turn into an oiled 8- by 4- by 2-inch loaf pan.
4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn out of the pan onto a wire rack to cool.
