Celery And Peanut Bread
|Self rising flour/2 cups sifted self-rising flour or 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted with 2 teaspoons baking powder||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Celery stalks||2 , finely chopped|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Peanut butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Mix the flour, salt and pepper together and rub in the butter or margarine until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Stir in the chopped celery, garlic pow-derand peanut butter.
Add the egg and enough mi I Mo mix to a stiff batter.
Spoon the batter into a greased A 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake above the center of a moderately hot oven (375°F) for 40-50 minutes until well risen and golden brown.
