Treacle Bread

Ingredients
  Treacle 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Pint
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Ground ginger 1 Pinch (Good Pinch)
  Flour 1 Pound
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat the treacle until it liquefies and add the milk.
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Add liquid.
Shape into a round cake with floured hands, about 1 1/2 inches thick.
Bake at 350-375°, depending on oven, for about 40 minutes.
Very good for priests and children
