Basic Bread Crumb Stuffing
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Celery leaves||1 , chopped|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning/Sage||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Stale bread cubes/Crumbs||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Water/Milk/giblet broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Saute the onion and celery in the butter until tender but not brown.
2. Combine the seasonings and the bread crumbs, toss together with the onion mixture and, if a moist dressing is desired, add enough liquid to barely moisten crumbs.
